Meet the team
An experienced and motivated team of seven work behind the scenes, running the back office, allowing Alex and Richard the time they need to devote to clients, meeting and speaking with them and managing their portfolios.
Alex never forgets that his job is to help clients feel good about their future!
His reputation for straight forward advice is based on a lifetime in the financial services industry. He has been an independent financial adviser since 1989, forming the business with John Harrison in 1994 and becoming Managing Director of Campbell Harrison Limited in 2008.
Alex has been a pension transfer specialist since 1994 and has held the Investment Management Certificate since 1996.

Putting himself in the shoes of his clients is fundamental to how Richard works.
After joining Norwich Union in Sheffield in 1990, Richard went on to work with several insurance companies, collaborating with independent financial advisers across South Yorkshire, including Campbell Harrison.
Guiding clients through the maze of pensions and investments is central to how Richard helps clients to meet their future financial goals, but he knows it’s always driven by what is right for them.
“The single most important lesson I have learned is that you always give advice that reflects what you would do if you were in the client’s shoes. It sounds simple but it is key to long term relationships and it’s what clients thank you for.”
Julie believes straight-forward financial advice is a given, exceptional customer service is where she aims to make a difference.
She began working in 1987 with insurance companies Eagle Star followed by Scottish Amicable. She joined Campbell Harrison as an administrator in 2001, and now controls operations in the role of office manager.
Julie has the qualifications needed to give advice to clients, but her real strengths are running the operational team, supporting the advisers and ensuring that customer service is paramount.

Campbell Harrison opened its doors in 1994, and in the many years since, we’ve worked tirelessly to serve clients in an attentive and personal manner. In 2008 the business became a limited company, reflecting persistent growth, Julie White became office manager in 2010, and Richard Collis came on board as a financial adviser in 2011.
Our offices in historical Paradise Square, Sheffield complement our approach to financial planning on behalf of our customers: a trusted financial environment built on solid foundations.
